We founded Just For Fun Art with one goal: to give you the best, most rewarding experience in art. Just For Fun Art is located in Sacramento and reflects the area's vibrant energy. Right before COVID, we moved from 4700 N Market Blvd less than two miles to 3995 N Freeway Blvd.
It all started with Face Painting at my daughter's school. I opened the first and only Northern California retail store for professional face and body painting supplies. We had over ten independent contractors who face-painted and balloons twisted of events. We recently sold face painting part of the business. Read more below

Lawn greetings we rent in a set for people to set up DYI.
Our newest addition is 'Second Saturday In Natomas' Art Exhibits and receptions. Art stays on display for one-month rotations.

How it all started.
In 2000 My Husband and I started Balloon Creations By Carolyn. Then in 2007, Michael, my Husband, our two Sons, and I went to Disney World. When we visited Animal Kingdom, I immediately wanted my face painted, and I MADE my Husband and kids do it with me. I had a blast walking around with my three Tigers.
I watched them paint and was thrilled with the vibrant colors and amazed at the artist's speed. The transformations were fantastic! While my Husband and Sons were being painted, I watched other children and adults being painted. I was inspired by each person's excitement when viewing their new face in the mirror, and I immediately wanted to learn this art form.
We have been in the Balloon Business for 33 years and the Face Painting and Art Business for 26 years now., We book events in the entire Sacramento and surrounding areas. We teach other women how to start businesses, test, and then sell the best supplies for a successful business. This is an excellent business for anyone needing extra income, and if for nothing else, JUST FOR FUN!
My Mother was a fine artist, and I grew up learning a little of every art medium you can find in Michaels or Hobby Lobby. While I have had to learn Acrylic painting to teach paint nites and other events, I love recycled art, trash to treasure, and Zentangle.
During Covid, we changed our direction. Currently, Just For Fun Art hosts Paint Parties, Birthday Parties, A Homeschool art curriculum, Second Saturday In Natomas, and many other art-related events in our new building at 3995 N Freeway Blvd in the Natomas area of Sacramento, CA. We run our 33-year-old successful Balloon Company out of the same building.
